Hello there- I am Cassie.

Plants to Poodles is a blog about growing houseplants, gardening, and raising dogs, for the beginning plant parent to the advanced dog parent,

and how therapeutic and rewarding it can be.

I would like to share my 20+ years of experience in dealing with anxiety because my dad suffered from it, and myself and my son also suffer from it.

With a dash of lifestyle stories about my journey as an aspiring novelist.

Because many of my readers are both plant parents and dog parents themselves, and suffer from, or know someone who suffers from anxiety I want to share my experience to help readers learn to care for and understand the therapeutic and rewarding experience of being a plant and/or dog parent.

A Bit About Me

I am a plant-obsessed, dog-loving, Poodle raising, aspiring novelist, with 10+ years in plant growing and a lifetime of raising dogs and finding natural ways to cope with anxiety.

Over the years, I have trialed and errored growing over 200 different types of plants and herbs. From this experience, I have become an advanced plant parent with over 100 healthy potted plants.

Growing up with dog-loving parents, who raised and bred dogs themselves, I cannot remember a time in my life I didn’t have a dog. I am currently a proud dog mom and owner AKC registered standard Poodles and a F1 Sheepadoodle.

Also, I have spent a lifetime coping with anxiety. My dad, myself and my son all suffer from anxiety. For this reason, I am more and more interested in ways to cope with anxiety in natural ways.

I want to personally invite you to subscribe for my monthly email newsletter.

Thank you for exploring my site! I appreciate your interest!
